Baghdad Underground Metro (BUM) is a vital mass transit project that was awarded to SYSTRA, the well-known French firm recognized as one of the best in mass transit companies in the world. The BUM project consists of 2 lines with a total length of (52 km) with (47) stations. Line (1) is in Rusafa only, starting from the current location of Project (10x10) and ends in Antar Square. Line (2) starts in Uqbah-bin Nafi' Square (Rusafa) and passes under Tigris River towards Karkh where it is divided into 2 branches. An extension line of the project was added from Antar Square to Kadhimiya city, in 2017 the project is accomplished successfully with the approval of Mayoralty of Baghdad.
DIJLAH represents SYSTRA for this project in Iraq by Follow-up tasks, implementing Topographic survey and soil investigations works, and attending joint technical workshops inside and outside of Iraq.
